product description

What does this product do? The TL-SF1008P is a 10 / 100Mbps unmanaged 8-port switch that requires no configuration and offers 4 PoE (Power over Ethernet) ports. It can automatically detect and power all IEEE 802.3af compliant power devices (PDs). In this situation, the electrical energy is transmitted together with the data in a single cable that allows you to expand your network to where there are no plugs, where you want to fix devices such as access points, IP cameras, IP phones, etc. Power over Ethernet 4 Of the 8 RJ45 Auto-Negotiable ports (port 1 to port-4) of the switch, they support the Power over Ethernet (PoE) function. These PoE ports can automatically detect and power all IEEE 802.3af compliant power devices (PDs) -Protection against Overload The TL-SF1008P has the priority function which will help protect the system when system power is overloaded. If all power consumption PoE PDs is> = 57W, a priority will be set among the PoE ports, the system will cut off the lowest priority port power.   - Priority Port Function Priority (Port-1 = Port-2 = Port-3> Port-4): This function will help ensure the normal operation of the system, which means that Port 4 will be cut when all the total power consumption of devices with PoE power exceeds 57W. For example, ports 1, 2 and 4 use 15.4 W each (maximum power of 15.4 W per port); The system is at 46.2W total. If there is a device with additional PoE power inserted in port 3 with 12W, then the system will cut the power of port 4 due to the possibility of overload, this means that ports 1 and 2 will use 15.4 W each and the Port 3 will use 12W, however, no power will be supplied to port 4. Easy to use The TL-SF1008P is easy to install and use. It does not require any configuration or installation. The TP-LINK TL-SF1008P 10/100 Mbps 10/100 Mbps PoE desktop switch delivers exceptional performance and quality making it an excellent choice to extend your home network as well as your office.
